Position Summary The Department of Accounting, Business Law, and Finance is seeking to build its pool of qualified adjunct professors in the disciplines of Accounting, Taxation, Business Law, Information Systems, and Finance. Job duties include teaching courses and holding office hours for students. Engagement with students and the student clubs is highly desirable and encouraged.
Minimum Academic Field Qualifications: Candidates must have a strong academic record. To meet AACSB faculty qualifications, candidates should have at least three years of work experience and should continue to be employed outside of academia in the field in which they would be teaching. Candidates should also have an appropriate graduate degree for their field (e.g., M.B.A., M.S. Accounting, Masters in Taxation, J.D.) along with appropriate external certifications (e.g., CPA License, Bar Membership, Microsoft, Google, Cisco). Preferred Qualifications (1) Ph.D. in Accounting, Finance, or MIS (2) Current CFA certification (3) Prior teaching experience.
