The Portfolio Accounting Manager is primarily responsible for the proper recording of investment transactions, position data and client account information as well as updating performance calculations and billing records. The position also requires extensive involvement in the production of reports supporting Client Services, Portfolio Management and Compliance.
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance, accounting, data management or related field.
5+ years of experience in a portfolio accounting or trading department, preferably within a wealth management firm.
High degree of proficiency in Advent Axys and Microsoft Excel.
Working knowledge of RIA custody platforms, Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and wealth management workflows.
High attention to detail with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow documented policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
Highly self-motivated, with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Advent Axys Report Writer Pro Certification a plus
