Privately held small business in the Gurnee/Wadsworth area is seeking a full-time experienced accountant. The successful candidate will have demonstrated abilities in the following areas:
10 plus years’ experience
Experience working with Windows based small business accounting software
Executing all aspects of the accounting function including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, Capital expenditures and Fixed Assets, preparation of monthly and annual financial statements with comparison to Budget, Annual Business Planning and Budgeting.
Work with outside vendors/consultants including payroll service, tax preparers and holding company financial managers
Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities
Work independently (this is the only position in the accounting function)
Work closely with department managers
Highest level of Integrity
