The position is primarily responsible to assist in the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Assist in the preparation of SEC (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S filings) and other public filings, including the coordination and preparation of required disclosure information. Assist in identifying and communicating to key stakeholders, the impacts of new or proposed accounting interpretations, pronouncements, or other technical literature. Assist in developing and coordinating SOX compliance activities with stakeholders, including process / control owners, relevant management and departments and the external auditor. Assist equity-based compensation processes.

- Assist in identifying and communicating to key stakeholders, the impacts of new or proposed accounting interpretations, pronouncements, or other technical literature

- Be a key contributor in the preparation and review of all external reporting documents, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and S filings
- Responsible for the preparation of Management’s Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and disclosures included in each annual or quarterly report
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors, as well as external and internal legal counsel
- Draft, maintain and promote policies and procedures related to SOX controls, corporate policies and procedures and related GAAP requirements
- Perform analysis and technical accounting research related to transactions that may arise and draft technical memorandums

- Review and ensure that all SEC filings are in compliance with SEC rules and GAAP
- Manage multiple activities simultaneously and ensure all deliverables are completed (i.e., quarter end tasks, internal audit compliance, and other projects as requested)
- Assist in maintenance of equity-based compensation program including participant maintenance and the recording of monthly equity-based compensation in accordance with ASC 718

Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Accounting
CPA or progression toward, a plus
3 – 5 years of experience in a public company reporting environment
Experience with Workiva, a plus
Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Exceptional organization skills, and decision-making skills, especially under stressful, difficult situations
Problem-solving skills that demonstrate the ability to critically evaluate and analyze issues and recommend well thought-out and/or creative solutions
