The Client is a public accounting firm and they are seeking candidates for their Part-Time Tax Manager position. Candidate will have opportunity to work on engagements involving review of bookkeeping and tax returns as well as tax research for clients.
Some of the responsibilities of the Tax Manager are listed below: -Tax return review (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S, 1120-H) -Researching and documenting tax filing positions -Bookkeeping review using QuickBooks (desktop and online versions) -Compiling and analyzing financial information
Requirements: -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting -5-10 years of tax experience in public accounting -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Proficiency in Microsoft Office -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Skills: -Licensed Certified Public Accountant -Master’s Degree in Accounting or Taxation -5-10 years of experience with QuickBooks (Online & Desktop) -Experience with ProSeries and Lacerte Tax Software -Proficiency in Office 365
-Experience working for a small CPA firm is preferred.
*This is a part-time role with the candidate coming in to the office on Monday's Wednesday's and Fridays. There is not an opportunity for remote work for the first six months of this role.*
