Studio Gang is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Chicago office. This role will be responsible for all functions of the Accounts Payable process and will provide billing and invoicing support for all Studio Gang projects.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with strong client service skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, creative environment. In addition, this person must be detail-oriented, have excellent organizational skills, and a helpful attitude.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Process general accounts payable invoices and payments for three corporate entities
Process employee expenses for reimbursement
Process project consultant pay-when-paid accounts payable
Coordinate with company credit card holders and record expenses
Process annual 1099s and maintain vendor records
Assist with annual financial reviews and FAR audit
Train employees on timesheet and expense report policy and procedures
Review and audit employee timesheets ensuring accuracy and compliance
Maintain vendor and employee information in accounting system
Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in accounting, finance or business is a plus
3 – 4 years accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Clearview Unanet (Formerly InFocus) or Deltek software experience is a plus
Experience with multiple-currency accounting
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation accounting
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and expert level Excel experience
Strong customer service and communication skills
Proven track record working with highly sensitive and confidential information
Excellent attention to detail, math, and organizational skills
Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy
