The Senior Tax Associate will provide tax planning and compliance support to the FOS advisors and their clients. This role requires an exceptional level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality. This person will enjoy the benefits of a culture that actively promotes work-life balance.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze tax data and tax-related documents provided by FOS clients to aid in the preparation of tax returns and other analyses
Prepare Federal and State tax returns for high net-worth individuals
Research and propose current and future tax planning opportunities
Review and respond to notices received from tax authorities
Prepare and communicate estimated payment requirements to FOS clients and ensure timely payment of these obligations
Serve as a point of communication between FOS clients and the FOS team
PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum three years of experience preparing high-net-worth individual, fiduciary, and partnership income tax returns; Estate, gift and private foundation experience preferred
CPA or EA designation required
Experience with CCHAxcess or ProFx tax software
Quickbooks experience and basic accounting knowledge preferred
