The Village of Lombard IL is seeking candidates for the position of Accountant.  The Accountant work is performed under the direct supervision of the Accounting Manager. The duties and responsibilities: Preparation of journal entries for posting to the general ledger Bank reconciliation for multiple bank accounts Payroll processing Federal and State Quarterly reporting W2 and 1099 year end processing Assist with grant accounting, pension funding and accounting, fixed assets, and utility billing adjustments Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes High degree of involvement in the Village's year end audit Performs other duties as required or assigned
