Within a fast-paced, growing department, the Credit Supervisor is primarily responsible for all aspects of the credit and collection function for the domestic and international distribution/dealer network of Systems LLC.
Domestic and International Distribution Customers:
Determine creditworthiness of customers, set limits, payment terms, approve orders
Facilitate payment of invoices
Resolve disputes, negotiate payment plans, escalated collection activity – work with third party agencies.
Assess current credit policies and procedures to integrate and align with Corporate Credit best practices, work with the ERP team in evaluating workflows
Partner with sales, customer service and other internal departments to provide the best experience for the customer
Prepare month-reports, AR and bad debt analysis for Sr. Management
Supervise cash application and third-party portal billing
Oversee the maintenance of the Credit/Customer data base
Assist with or champion departmental projects such as but not limited to – subscription billing process, intercompany offsets, warranty issues, credit card processing, certificates of insurance
As a contributing team member, performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree, or NACM certification
Five (5) years of progressively increasing responsibility/experience in the credit and collection field. Business to business—manufacturing environment preferred
Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
Must be able to work within deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Effective business writing, professional communication, and organizational skills
