We are an established and growing all-boys Catholic High School in immediate need of a topflight Director of Finance. Possessing strong communication and problem-solving abilities, the candidate will be motivated by the challenge to expand their technical, analytical, and strategic skills in the development and leadership of a strong, responsive Finance Department. Accounting experience in non-profit is a plus. CPA is preferred.
You will work in a dynamic accounting environment where you will not only perform accounting functions but also focus on profitability analysis, budgeting and forecasting, multi-departmental reporting, growth strategy, process improvement and development of financial and operational dashboards. You will work directly with senior leadership, outside advisors and the Board of Trustees to make the Organization successful. This role is pivotal to the overall function of the team and broader organization.
This is a full-time position reporting to both the Abbot, President of Marmion, Inc., and the President of the Academy.
Main Responsibilities:
Understand and explain the drivers of results, trends, and KPIs with a forward-looking focus.
Prepare monthly reporting package for leadership and executive team of the Board of Trustees, monthly forecast, annual budget, and other key strategic plans.
Oversight of Cash Management for all entities of Marmion, Inc.
Lead in the facilitation of the Organization’s annual audit conducted by an independent CPA firm
Collaborate with office staff on continuous process improvement initiatives.
Safeguard company assets through effective internal control procedures.
Lead efforts in administration of financial aid program.
