Here’s what you’ll do:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual incomes, sales, and excise tax returns.
• Research state tax issues and nexus standards for all types of state taxes.
• Research and maintain tax records.
• Administer the tax compliance calendar.
• Manage and assist with state tax audits.
• Conduct financial analysis of potential acquisitions, market expansion, and new business.
• Communicate with internal accounting team and with external auditors.
• Respond to tax authority communications.

More about you:

• You have experience working with state and local taxes.
• You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Having a CPA is a plus.
• You have knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
• You are familiar with tax software and accounting software programs.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
