Every day, people across Illinois are denied the basic rights to which they are entitled under the law simply becausethey can’t afford a lawyer. It’s our mission to change that. PSLS is seeking an Attorney, CPA, or Enrolled Agent for PSLS’s Low Income Tax Clinic (LITC). The LITC ensures thefairness and integrity of the tax system by providing free legal representation to low-income taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), conducting outreach and education to low-income taxpayers about their rights and responsibilities, and by identifying and advocating for issues that impact low-income taxpayers. The LITC receives its funding, in part, by a grant from the Internal Revenue Service since 2011. Working in a LITC can be one of the most rewardi
