As a Barclays Research Business Manager- Assistant Vice President, you will be working to support the Americas Research business, providing business solutions, operational leverage, and controls. The Research Business Management team manages a variety of projects and day-to-day tasks which support the strategic and economic decision making of Senior Stakeholders. This includes business development, functional coordination, regulatory initiatives and maintaining the overall control environment.

What will you be doing?
??? Being responsible for day-to-day business management, with a focus on allocating department resources, business controls, employee experience ??? Helping drive a communication & people agenda ??? Working with functional areas to improve processes and help manage the business (e.g., Sourcing, CRES, Technology, Compliance) ??? Accounting for the administration of approvals, expense management, market data, and the like ??? Evaluating processes/procedures with an eye to operational efficiency; recommending and implementing improvements as needed ??? Executing projects identified by Research Management as necessary to meet the department's strategic priorities ??? Undertaking ad hoc requests or initiatives as they develop; effectively prioritizing deliverables, yet maintaining enough flexibility to meet fast-changing business needs
