We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Representative, Tax Management to join Pershing LLC. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Serve as a team member for the day-to-day operations for retirement tax team.
Work on remittance process daily (Backup withholding, NRA withholding and State Tax).
Process state payments to various states for brokerage and bank custody.
Review IRS notices for State Tax Withholding.
Assist with processing journals daily for payments.
Process reconciliation for quarterly filings.
Assist with Puerto Rico payments.
Assist with review of tax forms (1099R/Q, 5498 and 990Ts).
Assist with reviewing K1s for Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
Serve as a backup for other team members.
Work on FTT (Financial Transaction Tax) for France, Italy, Spain and Greece.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Proficient in excel
5+ years of experience preferred experience in a primary process/product in a brokerage environment and tax reporting knowledge is a plus.
