We're seeking a future team member for the role of Control, Specialist to join our US Asset Servicing and Digital team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Oriskany, NY and is a hybrid role.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Manage the day-to-day requirements of the Business Acceptance Committee (BAC) ensuring effective controls are in place to meet both corporate policy and business procedures
Schedule all BAC meetings (meetings occur twice weekly and on an ad-hoc basis), set agendas, consolidate and prepare BAC materials for distribution to committee members, manage attendance (ensuring a quorum) and draft minutes for all meetings.
Meeting preparation- manage, consolidate, and prepare monthly standard submissions. Review all non-standard BAC submissions to ensure completeness and all requisite approval are obtained in accordance with ASD Procedure Track, monitor and follow-up on all open issues and ensure timely remediation.
In conjunction with the BAC Chair, lead business acceptance process re-engineering, working with developers and ASD colleagues to implement workflow-based business acceptance process.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required. Financial Services - 5+ years Compliance, audit, risk management, controls or legal experience within a large bank, broker-dealer or insurance company preferred ???Experience handling / managing complex documentation and workflow around such documentation a plus Ability to think and execute quickly in a fast moving environment with proper risk lens and balance Ability to lead, work with and influence across the organization including senior management

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $64,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
