As a Barclays Assistant Vice President Sustainable Project Finance, you will support the provision of innovative financing solutions across the sustainable energy and infrastructure space within the Americas. The incumbent of the role will lead detailed project financial modelling & credit analysis to ultimately deliver successful advice, arranging and/or structuring loans or multilateral financings that are suitable to client activities in different renewable energy and energy transition sectors.

What will you be doing?
??? Supporting the structuring, underwriting and execution of renewable energy and energy transition financing transactions in the Americas ??? Developing and applying comprehension of applicable sectors and products, summarizing detailed market and client analysis ??? Demonstrating strategic thinking, providing deal origination support in conjunction with deal team members ??? Using sector and debt advisory / structuring experience to assist in M&A and other event situations (buy/sell-side roles, deal contingent hedging, debt capital markets) ??? Assisting in financing documentation review and transaction closing process, interfacing with internal & external legal counsels ??? Supporting credit assessment on transactions and ensure progress on internal credit approval processes ??? Reviewing & summarizing project level due diligence including relevant technical, engineering and market studies
What we're looking for:
??? Bachelor's degree in related field of study ??? Experience as a senior analyst/associate across Americas infrastructure & sustainable-related deal execution, preferably at a large financial institution or corporation ??? Proven appetite to develop sector-specific understanding of appropriate risk management & credit mitigants ??? Exposure to capital markets & corporate finance principles
Skills that will help you in the role:
??? Familiarity with rating agency methodologies & scorecards ??? Exposure to loan distribution and institutional placement/arranging ??? Prior debt advisory experience

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
