As a Barclays Vice President Sustainable Project Finance, you will provide innovative financing solutions across the sustainable energy and infrastructure space within the Americas. The incumbent of the role will be responsible for supporting with providing advice, arranging and/or structuring loans or multilateral financings that are suitable to client activities in different renewable energy and energy transition sectors and have a track record that reflects this focus.

What will you be doing?
??? Leading, structuring, underwriting, and executing renewable energy and energy transition financing transactions in the Americas ??? Applying deep understanding of applicable sectors and products ??? Demonstrating high quality strategic thinking, providing deal origination support in conjunction with senior bankers ??? Using sector and debt advisory/structuring expertise to assist in M&A and other event situations (buy/sell-side roles, deal contingent hedging, debt capital markets) ??? Projecting and financing documentation review and closing process, interfacing with internal & external legal counsels, and negotiating deal points with clients ??? Leading credit assessment on transactions and oversee internal credit approval processes ??? Overseeing junior colleagues and provide guidance and supervision ??? Reviewing, coordinating, and overseeing project level due diligence including relevant technical, engineering and market studies
What we're looking for:
??? Bachelor's degree in related field of study ??? Several years' experience across Americas infrastructure & sustainable-related deal execution, preferably at a large financial institution, corporation, or rating agency ??? Deep sector-specific knowledge of risk management & credit mitigants ??? Advanced analytical and presentational skills including review of project financial modeling and stress analyses and knowledge of Excel/PowerPoint
Skills that will help you in the role:
??? Master's degree ??? Familiarity with rating agency methodologies & scorecards ??? Experience with loan distribution and institutional placement/arranging ??? Prior debt advisory experience within the infrastructure and energy sectors

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
