The Fixed Income and Currency (FIC) Central Business Control Unit (BCU) is a global function of the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD) responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the non-financial risk framework (NFR). The team interfaces between the 2nd and 3rd LoD, Divisional Control Office Functions and to the Regulators for 1LoD concerns. The function runs a complex change agenda in addition to meeting regulatory governance and reporting.
You will work along-side Business Management in the Business Management and Control (BMC) function. The FIC division spans multiple products and markets including Global Foreign Exchange, Rates, Global Credit Financing Solutions (GCFS), Global Emerging Markets (GEM), Counterparty Portfolio Management and Cross Product Structuring.

Your key responsibilities
Excellent understanding of MiFID II regulation & requirements with practical experience of implementing MiFid controls is a minimum requirement
Regulatory control implementations, with key focus on 1st line controls
Project management skills and the ability to co-ordinate and drive change across multiple stakeholders and effectively liaise with all supporting functions
Previous Investment Banking experience, preferably within the Front Office and with exposure to second and third line functions
Understanding of the macro Investment Banking environment and industry initiatives, particularly around regulation with In-depth knowledge of the front-to-back trade lifecycle
Analytical and communication skills to review and synthesise technical content to senior level management - ability to simplify complex problems
Your skills and experience
Experience/understanding of MiFID II controls or similar regulatory control implementations, with key focus on 1st line controls
Project management skills and the ability to co-ordinate and drive change across multiple stakeholders and effectively liaise with all supporting functions
Previous Investment Banking experience, preferably within the Front Office and with exposure to second and third line functions
