In this role, you're expected to:
Assess quality of existing governance framework, including identification and evaluation of emerging risksob
Assess effectiveness of the credit risk processes and standards to promote leading practices and identify opportunities for improvements
Ensure that Corrective Action Plans are appropriate, monitored and duly validated addressing concerns resulting from Fundamental Credit Risk Reviews or Business Monitoring.
Ensure that Credit Risk and Governance control documents include but not limited to the Business Monitoring Documents meeting quality and consistency standards,
Keep all senior management informed of any concerns and/or emerging risks that may have any potential impact to the regulatory/internal standard compliance, portfolio performance and business results.
Provides advice and counsel related to operations of the business.
Typically deals with complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting needs.
Demonstrate Quality Assurance activities as Subject Matter Expert
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:
6-10 years relevant experience
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.
