TheRole: Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting
S&P is seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager in the North American regulatory reporting onboarding team to ensure successful client implementations of the Cappitech software platform for trade reporting and analytics. We are looking for a someone who can provide exceptional client experience to a broad range of clients and ensure the fast and effective management of client workflows to join the S&P Cappitech Support team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in managing client integration projects, both small and large. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable communicating with clients, answering regulatory queries. Ideally the candidate will have some experience in mainly North American regulatory reporting - SEC, CFTC, and Canada. Previous experience with EMIR, MiFID, ASIC, and\or SFTR would also be favorable. The role is client facing and requires a high degree of technical competence.

The Impact: As a global leader in trade and transaction reporting, the S&P Cappitech team have been providing RegTech solutions for over two decades. Our cloud-based, cross regulation SaaS platform allows banks, brokers, hedge funds, asset managers, insurance companies and corporates to comply with global regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Perform business analysis and gather requirements for trade and transaction reporting across major regulatory regimes, including, CFTC, SEC, Canada, and EMIR among others
Translate regulatory requirements into business requirements and functional specifications; manage client data extraction, transformation, and loading
Collaborate with technology, operations, sales, and business development to deliver regulatory reporting solutions
Able to work with Development and QA during testing to ensure implementation meets design and requirements
Oversee Sanity and Component testing of new features during the development phase & review of Test Plans
Lead the implementation of small or medium size projects
Act as a liaison between the client and the delivery team to define and validate client requirements
Partnering with developers and testers in designing and delivery solutions
Maintain strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a client facing role
5-10 years financial services experience, in particular financial regulatory reporting
Demonstrated project management abilities
A highly motivated and results-driven individual with a commitment to producing high-quality work
Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a related field
Knowledge of regulatory reporting of major regimes; preferred experience with North American regulations (CFTC, SEC, and Canada) and EMIR/Refit
In-depth understanding of the trade lifecycle for major financial assets (interest rates, FX, credit, commodities, and equities) across OTC derivatives and exchange-traded derivatives (ETD)

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $65,800 to $ 136,600. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
