Seasonal Tax Assistant
We are offering a unique part-time position for tax accountants/tax preparers/administrative professionals who would like to earn a bit of money on the side or have a less stressful tax-related gig during our busiest months of February and March. We are looking for someone familiar with individual taxes to help us acquire and organize documents for individual 1040 tax returns of various difficulties. This is a fully remote position, if so desired. Responsibilities include: - Compare current year documents received with prior year info file. Make a list of outstanding items to send to client.- Analyze tax situation for situations that may apply to current year, such as child care, 529 contributions, etc.
