The Banking Business Execution team is responsible for developing and executing the integrated Banking strategy, managing common capabilities, and driving cross-business initiatives. This will enable Citi to achieve simplification, increased productivity, efficiencies and enhance our operating model to enable growth. This team has a unique opportunity to make an impact across Banking for Citi.
We would like to recruit a Business Associate for the Banking Business Execution team to help drive the strategy and execution of the integrated Banking model, provide support for strategic initiatives, and help run essential business execution functions. This role will have a unique and highly visible opportunity to work across Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking teams across Citi.
Responsibilities:
Help drive change across banking by working with management to drive strategic initiatives related to clients, our people, capital and compliance
Conduct in-depth research and perform deep dives on specific businesses to evaluate strategies and opportunities in their execution.
Coordinate projects and workstreams to implement changes across the various product groups, regions, sectors, and functional partners and interact with a wide range of stakeholders across banking.
Work with Business Execution leads to streamline processes, optimize the way use technology, and build associated policies and procedures across individual businesses that are consistent.
, Prepare management analysis and reporting with a focus on developing and tracking KPI's allowing management to measure performance
Develop a strong understanding of market dynamics, emerging trends, and industry implications.
Prepare ad-hoc analyses and presentations for senior management, framing issues and synthesizing key findings of team analyses and recommendations.
Execute special projects of significant importance or business priority.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant experience
Strong problem solving, analytical, execution and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to independently own work and operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Ability to conduct research/analysis, synthesize large sets of data and convey a clear story supported by findings
Consistently develop and maintain effective work relationships, and work as a team
Strong business analysis and project management skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint expertise
Experience within Banking and with clients is a plus
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
