A London market insurance business are looking for a Assistant Finance Business Partner to join their finance department to the Senior Finance Business Partners in business planning and reporting. This includes production and distribution of annual budgets and long-term forecasts to underwriting divisions.
The main responsibilities of this Assistant Finance Business Partner role will include:
Assist Finance Business Partners and underwriters with production of annual business plan
Ensure that financial results are communicated as required, and that robust numbers flow to actuarial and financial processes.
Provide financial analysis and opinions to support decision-making in the business
Work directly with underwriters regularly to produce premium forecasts
Communicate effectively with both information providers and stakeholders
Ad-hoc analysis as required to support the business
The successful candidate for this Assistant Finance Business Partner will need experience in a commercial finance role within the insurance industry, ideally the Lloyd's insurance insurance. The candidate must also be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and have prior stakeholder management experience.
