Purpose, Nature and Level of Work: Responsible for all accounting and finance activities of the Lafayette Regional Airport insuring conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for governments; includes all Payroll and Human Resource functions; all accounts receivable functions, all budget preparation and conformity; prepares and coordinates an annual audit with the designated independent firm; handles all money management functions; oversees the Accounts Payable function and responsibilities for maintaining an ad valorum millage. Also analyzes income and expenses, efficiency of Airport operations, keeps records and reports to the Executive Director/Commission on Airport performance.
