KAMO Power is seeking a detail-oriented Field System Analyst. This is a non-exempt position that is responsible for compiling data on all installed, modified, or removed electronic equipment and evaluating equipment reports to pinpoint problem areas, in our Muskogee, OK facility. This role plays a key part in supporting field technology systems, ensuring reliable operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and maintain field technology systems to ensure reliable operation of communication, monitoring, and control equipment used in the field. • Troubleshoot and repair system issues by diagnosing hardware, software, and network problems that affect field operations. • Support system upgrades and projects by assisting with testing, documentation, and implementation of improvements to field and operational technology systems. • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and compliance standards while minimizing downtime.
Qualifications: • Associate Degree in High Voltage Line Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline from an accredited trade school or university is required. • Three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience required. • General knowledge of: – Fiber installations including underground and aerial construction on distribution and transmission line structures and assemblies. – Installation and maintenance of Point-of-Presence buildings, cabinets, and equipment on microwave towers. – Installation, configuration, and testing of networking hardware to include Ethernet switches, routers, and DWDM/CWDM/ROADM nodes. – Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Requires a combination of computer skills, troubleshooting, soldering and mechanical skills, to identify problems and perform precise repair work. • Equivalent combinations of education, technical training, and relevant field experience may be considered in place of a degree.
