Account Manager within the Asia ex-Japan Global Wealth Management team, focused on business development and relationship management amongst our bank distribution partners. This position is based in Hong Kong.
PIMCO is recognized as a leading fixed income and alternatives managers amongst institutions and wealth management platforms globally. We have a well-established wealth management platform in Asia, which continues to be a key source of growth for PIMCO. We are recruiting an Account Manager to help further expand our business with our bank distribution partners in Hong Kong. In addition to providing fixed income solutions, the candidate will also promote PIMCO's capabilities in its alternatives and multi-asset suites.
The sales process to/via our bank distribution partners is complex, varied and demanding - there is no single approach that is applied consistently. A successful sale may in some instances be established via a single point of contact, while elsewhere it may revolve around more broad based discussions involving the client's product selection experts, sales teams, business and/or thought leaders.
Consequently, to be successful in this area, it is essential for PIMCO to recruit a team member who understands how to sell in a potentially complex environment as well as having a deep understanding of investment management and the structuring of investment solutions. In addition, they must also be able to network and influence in an effective way internally at PIMCO.
