Tax Accountant - CPA Preferred
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience in income tax preparation. The individual should be able to work without extensive supervision on all tax and accounting related projects. The following duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Duties/Responsibilities: Prepare various tax returns 1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1120-H, 1065, 1041, 990, 709. Prepare State Income tax, Payroll, Sales tax and other local tax returns. Prepare Amended tax returns. File Extensions and prepare tax planning and projections. Respond to client requests and questions and work with clients to obtain information for accounting and tax return completion. Independently respond to taxpayer notices.
