What you'll do
As a Speciality Finance Associate, you'll be providing project management support to senior structurers, taking all reasonable steps to make sure structuring activities adhere to our conduct, operational, credit, and regulatory risk policies.
You'll also be:
Working with colleagues across Speciality Finance to identify new mandates from new and existing customers in the UK and Europe
Performing asset analysis and cash flow modelling of securitisation transactions across a range of asset classes, including residential mortgages, auto loans, consumer loans, credit cards, equipment leasing and commercial real estate
Structuring asset-backed lending transactions and capital markets transactions to be placed to institutional investors
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage internal approvals, working with rating agencies and liaising with external legal counsel in the preparation of bespoke securitisation documentation
The skills you'll need
To succeed in this role, you'll need asset-backed securities and residential mortgage-backed securities structuring experience. Alongside a genuine desire to learn, you'll also need experience in financial institutions or financial markets, paired with quantitative, analytical and modelling skills.
Additionally, you'll bring:
Knowledge of Intex or Bloomberg modelling platforms
Advanced Excel or VBA skills
Entrepreneurial skills
The ability to demonstrate effective communication and presentation skills
Demonstrable organisational skills and the ability to project manage
A collaborative approach, and the ability to work as part of a team and to interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
